PURPOSE To conduct a comparative analysis of the prevalence of urolithiasis in the Russian Federation. METHODS We analysed urolithiasis prevalence and incidence data from 2005 to 2019 (15 years) for the entire population of Russia. Data were provided by the 'Ministry of Health' of the Russian Federation. The prevalence and incidence of urolithiasis were collected and analysed for both adults and children for each region of the Russian Federation over this 15-year period. Statistical analysis was...

We present an extremely rare clinical case of a 38-year-old Russian patient with multiple malignant neoplasms of the uterus and colon caused by genetically confirmed two hereditary diseases: Diamond-Blackfan anemia and Lynch syndrome. Molecular genetic research carried out by various methods (NGS, Sanger sequencing, aCGH and MLPA) revealed a pathogenic nonsense variant in the MSH6 gene: NM_000179.2: c.742C>T, p.(Arg248Ter), as well as a new deletion of the chromosome 15’s locus with the capture ...

Background: This study presents a retrospective analysis (efficacy and toxicity) of outcomes in patients with unresectable recurrence of previously irradiated head and neck (H&N) cancers treated with proton therapy. Locoregional recurrence is the main pattern of failure in the treatment of H&N cancers. Proton re-irradiation in patients with relapse after prior radiotherapy might be valid as promising as a challenging treatment option. Materials and methods: From November 2015 to January 2020, 30...

Prostate cancer is one of the most common socially significant tumors. Advanced stages of prostate cancer, such as locally advanced and castration-resistant prostate cancer, are present the greatest clinical management problem. Known indicators exhibit low capacity to predict the disease course, therefore these categories of prostate cancer need better prognostic markers. In the study, we performed a bioinformatic analysis of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) data, including the RNA-Seq data of the...

We studied the biodistribution of 68Ga-NODA-aminoglucose (68Ga-NODA-AG) in normal mice and mice with experimental model of colon adenocarcinoma tumor. It was shown that 68Ga-NODA-aminoglucose was retained in the tumor for 3 h after injection and demonstrated high level of accumulation in the tumor. Rapid clearance of radioactivity from other organs was observed. The results suggest that 68Ga-NODA-aminoglucose is a promising agent for tumor visualization by positron emission tomography.
