Abstract In this paper a new stationary phase was studied, a hydrogel derived from cellulose acetate (DS 2.5) and ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride (HEDTA) was used in gel permeation chromatography (GPC) on a preparative scale for elution of acetosolv lignin samples.
