We investigated the impact of olmesartan and temocapril on pancreatic islet beta-cells during the development of diabetes mellitus using Otsuka-Long-Evans-Tokushima Fatty (OLETF) rats. 41歳,男性.二次性高血圧の精査にて入院.高血圧の原因として,腎性,腎血管性,内分泌性を示唆する所見は認めなかったが,重症の睡眠時無呼吸が認められた. nasal CPAPの開始直後より,無呼吸の消失とともに血圧コントロールの著明な改善を認めた.重症の睡眠時無呼吸が高血圧の成因に深く関与すると考えられた症例を経験したので文献的考察を加えて報告する.
