In India agricultural marketing is governed by a set of public owned wholesale markets which were established during the colonial period under the APMC Act. The regulatory mechanism, which is more than 100 years old, no doubt, has put in place some good marketing practices.

Sarin is an organophosphorus (OP) chemical warfare agent which irreversibly inhibits acetylcholinesterase.
