Abstract Over recent years, eutectic high-entropy alloys (EHEAs) have intrigued substantial research enthusiasms due to their good castability as well as balanced strength–ductility synergy. In this study, a bulk cast Al19.25Co18.86Fe18.36Ni43.53 EHEA is developed with fine in-situ lamellar eutectics. Abstract null null The mechanical and electrical properties of continuously cast Cu-0.4 wt%Te alloy produced by continuous extrusion forming at 800 °C were investigated. It was found that this thermomechanical processing was an effective way to induce the formation of refined recrystallized grain and promote dynamic precipitation of Te atom, thereby simultaneously improving the strength, ductility and electrical conductivity of Cu-0.4 wt%Te alloy.

Abstract High total strain-controlled creep-fatigue tests of 1.8% were performed for a directionally-solidified Ni-based superalloy, DZ445, at 900 °C in air. Dwell times of 0, 2, and 5 min. were introduced at the tensile peak strain for each cycle. Experimental results show a decrease in fatigue life with increasing dwell time. The effects of an axial static magnetic field (ASMF) on the carbides and mechanical properties of electroslag-remelted (ESR) Cr12MoV die steel were investigated.
