In line with the bottom-up theory of life satisfaction, this study examined the quality of life of long and short-distance runners. Data were collected from a total of 1,676 runners in a running event. WHOQOL-BREF (26-item version of WHOQOL-100) was used to measure the quality of life of the runners.
