Abstract Owing to the peculiar properties of graphene such as ultrahigh surface area and high strength, this fortified structure has been found to be efficient for swage and wastewater remediation, particularly for organic pollutant removal. Phenol and its derivatives are known as the priority of pollutants discharge from household and industrial processes and cause massive deleterious disturbance for human health and eco-environment. Numerous investigations have been earmarked to study the abil...

Plant derived biogenic synthesis of nanoparticles (NP) has been the recent trend in material science as featured sustainable catalysts. A great deal of the current nanocatalytic research has been oriented on the bio-inspired green catalysts based on their wide applicability. In this context, CuO NPs are synthesized following a green approach using an herbal tea (Stachys Lavandulifolia) flower extract. The phytochemicals contained in it were used asthe internal reductant without applying harsh ch...

The combination therapy which has been proposed as the strategy for the cancer treatment could achieve a synergistic effect for cancer therapies and reduce the dosage of the applied drugs. On account of the the unique properties as the high absorbed water content, biocompatibility, and flexibility, the targeting nanogels have been considred as a suitable platform. Herein, a non-toxic pH/thermo-responsive hydrogel P(NIPAAm-co-DMAEMA) was synthesized and characterized through the free-radical poly...

Given the importance of nanofibers in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and drug delivery applications, this study aimed to use poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) nanofibers as drug carriers for clindamycin. First, PVA solution was electrospun without drug to obtain electrospinning optimum condition of reference carrier. Then, 8% PVA solution containing 2% clindamycin was electrospun under optimum conditions at 20 kV voltage, 10 cm for nozzle-to-collector distance and an injection rate of 1 mL/h. In o...

Abstract The present report represents the synthesis of a novel Pd NPs immobilized over a natural polysaccharide (pectin) coated Fe3O4 magnetic nanocomposite material (Fe3O4@pectin/Pd) for investigating the cardiovascular protective effects. The biomolecular functionalization not only stabilizes the ferrite nanoparticles from agglomeration but also provides an environment for the biogenic reduction of Pd2+ ions. This protocol is a promising breakthrough for the synthesis of a quasi-heterogeneous...

Abstract The present paper describes the synthesis of nanocomposites with silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) on the surface of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosheets using microfluidization by celery seeds extract as a green reducing agent. The RGO/Ag nanocomposites were characterized using SEM, XRD, TEM, HRTEM, XPS, Zeta potential, EDX, AFM, and UV–Vis spectroscopy. The average particle sizes of the Ag NPs were approximately determined to be 36.8, 28.4, and 20.9 nm via the stirred heater, ultrasoni...

Abstract The present study reports synthesis of BaFe12O19 nanoparticles by sol gel technique followed by its characterization using Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) analysis, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The BaFe12O19 nanoparticles have been applied to construct a modified graphite screen-printed electrode (GSPE). BaFe12O19/GSPE has been applied as a...
